Participants to the CBMS training in Abra with CBMS Expert LGOO V Rolando Gonzales (in blue/white polo shirt).

The municipalities of Danglas, Dolores, Malibcong, and Penarrubia in Abra underwent training on Community Based Monitoring System Accelerated Poverty Profiling Module 1 last April 3-7, 2017 in   Bangued, Abra.

Module 1 which is data collection using CBMS Scan and CBMS Portal covers a general orientation on the background and rationale for CBMS, lectures and hands-on exercise on how to conduct survey and field operations.

The household Profile Questionnaire and Barangay Profile Questionnaires include questions on core necessities such as health and nutrition, housing, peace and order, income and livelihood, and education.

Data generated as a result serves as the basis for development planning since it specifically identifies the needs in the locality.
